Google's Delay Filter for New Websites Explored!

There has been a lot of buzz in the SEO world lately about a delay filter or "Google Sandbox". Basically the theory goes that when you start a new site it takes 6 - 8 months to get a high rating in the Google SERPs.

This is the situation no matter how well your pages are optimized. I agree with this theory and that is why I try to get new site owners to first put up a preliminary site to get in the Google database and get the clock ticking.
